Paul has extensive experience across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including mergers and acquisitions.

Paul’s transactional experience includes mergers and acquisitions (domestic and cross border), corporate reorganisations, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital, as well as advising on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

Prior to joining LK Shields, Paul worked in the Dublin office of an international law firm and has also previously worked for a leading international offshore law firm.

Acted for Brink’s ATM Services Limited, a subsidiary of the Nasdaq listed The Brink’s Company, in its acquisition of Allied Irish Banks plc’s non-branch ATM network.
Acted for an MBO team in their buyout of the existing shareholders of the Dortek group of companies (a leading designer and manufacturer of Hygienic Door Systems).
Acted for a leading Irish engineering group in its acquisition of an engineering consultancy practice.
Acted for Eomanna Holdings Limited in its purchase of TFC Designs Limited (t/a Kitchen World).
Acted for the existing shareholder of Skellville Enterprises Limited (t/a SF Engineering) in connection with the investment into the company by Alcuin Capital Partner.
Acted for an MBO team in their buyout of the existing shareholders of the Critical Healthcare Limited (a market leading supplier of specialist medical and healthcare products).
Acted for Glenpatrick Natural Mineral Water Coolers Limited in its acquisition of Echo Water Limited.
Acted for the shareholders of Design Partners Limited in their sale of the company to global consultancy firm, PA Consulting.
Acted for Kajima Ireland Limited on the corporate law aspects of its development financing of 258 residential property units in Belmayne, Dublin 13.
Acted for MyTicket Services Limited in its investment for a majority shareholding in Oshi Software Limited t/a Ticket.ie.
Acted for EI Electronics on the Irish aspects of the acquisition of Brooks Australia.
