Lisa practices in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.

She has experience in a wide range of commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, venture capital and shareholder agreements.

Experience

  • Advised the majority shareholders of The Root System Holding Company Limited t/a Strong Roots on a $55 million investment by McCain Foods.
  • Advised Renatus Capital Partners in the establishment of a €35M private equity fund targeting investment in Irish and UK SMEs, and subsequently advised Renatus on a number of investments from that fund into investees including CRS (a market leader in the provision of modular temperature-controlled storage solutions to the food and pharmaceutical sectors), Kappture (a leading provider of Electronic Point of Sale and Mobile Payments software to the stadia, education, and hospitality industries) and AQF Medical (a leading manufacturer of custom engineered foam and thermoplastic components).
  • Advised the promoters of the Hotel Investment Fund on the establishment of the €50M fund backed by the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) and established to invest in hotels whose trading has been negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
  • Advised the sellers of StoryToys, a world-class developer and publisher of educational entertainment apps, on its sale to Team17.
  • Advised Dussmann Group, one of the largest private multi-service providers worldwide, on its acquisition of the STS Group.
  • Advised the shareholders of Eastland Engineering Supply Co. Limited (EES) in relation to an investment into the business by MML Growth Capital Partners Ireland.
  • Advised on the establishment of a joint venture enterprise between Swen Impact Fund for Transition and Rika Biofuels to invest in European biomethane projects.
  • Advised the sellers on the sale of Callaghan Engineering to RED, a company of ENGIE Impact.
  • Advised Paradyn, Ireland’s only end-to-end single-source provider of ICT, network and telecoms solutions, on the sale of Irish Telecom Services to Viatel.
