Clair is Head of Real Estate at LK Shields.

She has extensive experience in advising on all aspects of real estate sector projects and transactions. Her experiences spans all major real estate asset classes, including development land, PBSA (purpose built student accommodation), social housing, industrial and logistics, retail and offices. Clair acts for several Irish and international clients, developers, real estate funds, family investment houses and retailers.

Experience

  • Acting for an international multi-family office in the acquisition of commercial property, development sites and ongoing asset management of its real estate portfolio.
  • Acting for a developer in respect of the acquisition of development sites for PBSA schemes, and the associated construction, financing, asset management and/or disposal of the completed developments.
  • Advising a large semi-State pension fund on its investment in a significant aparthotel scheme in Dublin City through a forward funding structure.
  • Acting for a developer in the sale of significant landbanks in north county Dublin to residential developers and the local authority.
  • Advising a large commercial semi-State company on the property aspects of the sale of a corporate entity within the group to a local authority, together with the sale of associated property aspects to the same local authority
  • Ongoing advice to several retailers in relation to the leasing of retail outlets in various shopping centres and retail parks.
  • Acting for a private Irish family office on the acquisition, disposal and development of large commercial property portfolios and development land.
