Stamp Duty:  New Edition of Book by Emmet Scully Just Published

Emmet Scully, corporate and commercial partner at LK Shields, is pleased to announce that the new edition of The Law and Practice of Irish Stamp Duty has just been published by the Irish Tax Institute.

This book analyses and interprets the law relating to stamp duties in Ireland.

Since the last edition, there have been significant changes to the law, including the introduction of complex anti-avoidance provisions and a series of revisions and updates to legislative guidance by the Revenue Commissioners.

This new edition covers the law relating to stamp duty up to and including the Finance Act 2024. It is the only publication currently available that offers an up-to-date and in-depth analysis of Irish stamp duty law.
