Sale of MPSTOR to Sanmina Corporation

We advised Kernel Capital in relation to the sale of MPSTOR Limited to Sanmina Corporation for a purchase price of US$40 million.

Two Kernel managed funds, the Bank of Ireland Kernel Capital Partners Private Equity Fund I Limited Partnership and the Bank of Ireland Seed and Early Stage Equity Fund 2009 Limited Partnership, were together the majority shareholders in MPSTOR.

MPSTOR is a leading developer of storage and cloud management software products.

The transaction was led by Emmet Scully, Partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial Department, with the assistance of Lisa McEllin, Associate Solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial Department.
