LK Shields supports Galway 2020

LK Shields is delighted to support this momentous cultural event as part of our CSR programme.

Galway 2020 is a complex and ambitious cultural celebration, featuring a year-long programme of unforgettable events launching in February 2020.  It will provide an invaluable opportunity for both locals and international visitors to explore and experience the broad range of Irish talent and creativity.  This goal strongly aligns with our firm's values of access, inclusion and opportunity. 

Events running throughout the year will celebrate Irish landscape, language and cultural diversity.  They will cater to all interests, including food, music, dance, theatre and literature.

At the launch, Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Josepha Madigan said that Galway 2020 was:

“an exceptional opportunity to highlight to an international audience, not only the strength and vibrancy of Galway’s culture and creativity in all its many forms, but the importance of our place in Europe.”
