Construction Contracts Adjudication Service processing applications for appointment of Adjudicator

The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI) has confirmed that the Construction Contracts Adjudication Service is now in a position to recommence the processing of applications for the appointment of an Adjudicator (pursuant to section 6(4) of the Construction Contracts Act 2013).

It is worth noting that the DBEI has also advised that – given the ongoing restrictions (arising from Covid-19) – it may not be possible to process applications strictly within the seven day time period set out in the Code of Practice Governing the Conduct of Adjudications.
