We were delighted to act for Cignal in the expansion of their financing facility to €65m.
Cignal, backed by Paris-based infrastructure Fund, InfraVia Capital Partners, has a network of telecoms towers at over 500 key locations across urban and rural Ireland and has 18% of the Irish market for infrastructure supporting mobile, fixed wireless broadband communications and broadcast services.
The new funds will be used as part of Cignal’s ongoing growth plans including new telecoms and broadband communications towers to address coverage blackspots throughout Ireland.
Bank of Ireland acted as the lead arranger of the new facilities alongside AIB, which became a joint lender to the business.
The LK Shields team comprised Grainne Finneran from our Banking & Finance team and Peter O’Reilly from our Commercial Property team.
